Originally from Russia, with a background in dancing and gymnastics, Nina has always had a passion for fitness and health. Once she discovered the great benefits Pilates has to offer, she was immediately drawn to this form of exercise.  As a dancer and a working mom, Nina was so affected by the experience and inspired by the results, that she decided to teach and share with others the incredible power of the Pilates method. She has received an advanced level Pilates certification and continues to remain a dedicated teacher and student of both yoga and Pilates practices.

As an enthusiastic yoga practitioner, Nina can't imagine being without either yoga or Pilates as they share a close bond.  She finds that the combination of both practices provides the best approach to attaining a strong body, calm mind and peaceful spirit.  Nina believes that strengthening the core and improving the flexibility of the spine is the key to reversing the degenerative effects of aging and promoting overall health.  

Besides Pilates/yoga fusion, Nina also teaches a Latin-based dance aerobic system called Zumba.  She and her husband teach, perform and compete in swing dancing in the New  England area.  Nina has M.S.degree in biology/immunology.  She works and lives in Kittery, Maine with her husband and three young children.
